Chicago 63rd Street Corridor Growth Assessment

Mass Economics worked with LISC Chicago to assess economic growth opportunities for Chicago’s 63rd Street Corridor in the context of the local, city, and regional economy. The Mass Economics team focused on inclusive growth recommendations, such as supporting local small businesses and self-employed workers, attracting and strengthening inclusive clusters, and revitalizing underutilized industrial land along the corridor. Project recommendations were based on data analytics, stakeholder meetings, and expert interviews and have led to millions of dollars of investment from a variety of foundations and the City of Chicago.
